Performance Chinex® brushes. Researched and developed in the UK for use in the UK paints by UK painters. Traditional UK style semi-round stainless steel ferrule. Streamlined beavertail unlaquered hardwood handle for comfortable use. Use in ALL types of coatings for interior and exterior use, where a firmer filament brush is preferred.
Each brush in the range has been individually formulated and constructed with a full stock of 100% DuPont™ Chinex® tapered synthetic filament to maximise superior paint release and clean up. They excel with both oil and latex paints and are especially effective with modern paint technology – the heavy bodied, waterborne, acrylics and alkyd modified paints that are often difficult to brush on smoothly. Our Performance brushes carry more paint to the surface, resulting in higher productivity.

Got given a box of these as a freebie. The brushes are good quality and feel nice to use. I have been using the 2 ” in emulsion for about a year now. Mainly for painting around edges, small areas and cutting in before rollering which it does very well. I don’t prefer it over any other brushes I have though. I have not tried it in water based gloss or satin. The bristles seem quite soft but in emulsion they work well enough.
